Go Live Radio Presents: Go Live Saturdays Live from Club Posh

Okay, It's been a minute since I posted a blog on here..(well actually it hasn't..I did one for my homie Illa Scorsese..cop that album in the bottom blog below..lol). If you didn't know, Go Live Radio's Saturday broadcast has been on vacation for about a month. We were in the process of getting things together for other projects.(4080 Radio baby!!). You can still check us out weekly on Fresh Radio(www.fresh.wwradio.net) Tuesdays & Fridays Midnight EST with the Go Live Radio:Fresh Edition shows.
On April 16,2011, we planned to do a special live broadcast of Go Live Radio for Mr.80Foe's Birthday Bash at Club Posh(1713 E.Main Street, Richmond,VA). Due to technical difficulty(like the club speakers being too loud to broadcast because the sound would definitely pick up on the mics), we decided not to broadcast. Mr. 80Foe is part of the Club Posh Family, so we figured that we could always come back on another night to broadcast live at one of the events that he normally hosts.
When we did Go Live Radio on Saturdays, we attracted an audience. When I say audience, I'm not talking about the audience that logs on to listen to the live broadcast online. I'm talking about the individuals who take the time to come down to the station and sit in with us. On a regular Saturday broadcast we would have at least 30 bodies in there embracing each other for their love for Hip Hop.(S/O to Bocaine,Princess, Brixx, Barry Murf, GW,Manu,SloMo,etc, etc.) Being that the new spot we are putting together is not a fitting place to have people just sitting in on the live broadcast, I personally didn't see any reason to bring the Go Live Radio Saturday Format to 4080 Radio.
The day after Mr.80Foe's Birthday Bash(in which I had a blast...as usual), I was sitting at home thinking about new formats for Go Live Radio. Besides, I had to bring the supporters something fresh and different because that is what we do. Kaywu,(owner & program director of WRFE) called me up and came up with the idea of us doing Go Live Radio in Club Posh from 6-8pm, being that Mr.80Foe is affiliated with the venue. I did not know if Club Posh had the time or patience to deal with such a show like ours. Kaywu chatted it up with Mr.80Foe about the idea. Mr.80Foe being intrigued by it,made a couple phone calls and "Go Live Saturdays" was born.(Starting April 30th, 2011)
Now, we figured what better way to accommodate our "little live audience"but to broadcast LIVE from one of the dopest spots in the City Of Richmond... Club Posh(1713 E.Main Street). Go Live Radio has always strive to bring the music to the people live. So while we do our thing live on air, the people can enjoy themselves in an atmosphere where the drinks stay cold and the wings stay delicious.(lol..that's my little plug..hahahaha). On top of that, the 30 folks who came to the station on the regular can change to 100-150 folks coming to "Go Live Saturdays" instantly.
Of course you have to be the required age to attend "Go Live Saturdays", but there is no admission charge. Come as you are and enjoy the entertainment of myself, Mr.80Foe & Dj Jeff C(Jeff C is a regular on iPowerRichmond.com also..thought I throw that in..lol). We broadcast every Saturday from 6-8pm, bringing you good music, live interviews, live freestyles, topic discussions, etc. The best part about coming to "Go Live Saturdays" is you don't have to go any where once the show is done broadcasting. You could stay for Club Posh Saturday Nights.(only if you are dressed correctly & follow club guidelines..go live radio ain't got nothing to do with Posh's rules..lol).
So starting Saturday, April 30, 2011, we will be broadcasting Go Live Radio from Club Posh(1713 East Main Street, Richmond, Va). Come down and rock with with us... Go Live!!!!
